This was up at the monument of the wagon. there is a little centre, where you watch a video all about the Battle of Blood River.

Sarah and I. She is standing on one of the canons. There were 3 and each had a name. One was named weeskind (orphan) because of all the children it orphaned when it went off.

Christopher, Sarah and Lanelle. All these wagons are made from metal or steel, placed in a similar position as to during the battle, with these 'gates' to keep the enemy out of their circle (laager).

Okay, these rockw were originally placed to commemorate the reconciliation between boer and zulu, that took place years after the battle in the same place. The stones are still in the same place.
