Today we went to the free show for kids. It was a beach party with Dave Rudolph! It was really fun, but was super packed and Sarah got a little overwhelmed. She did go on stage to shake a shaker with a whole bunch of other children.
This is an increase of confidence or something, because a week or so ago we went to a music thing at the library with Judy Stock. She had spoons, and Sarah managed to get one, but then didn't want to play it, and was then very tearful that she had given it away and couldn't play with the band.
Anywho, the show today had lots of participation. It was fun! We walked up there as the snow came down. But by the time we were walking back to the bus, it was quite nice weather. Warm. probably about 0 Celsius.
We have had quite a number of days where the temp was above zero, and we have had rain, and so a lot of the snow has melted and we can actually see the grass.
Last night we borrowed a friend's car to do some grocery shopping, and ended up with a flat tire outside the store. Luckily it was close to home, and we got help. But it was cold, and late... not our most fun night out.
Otherwise, we have been enjoying having Ryan at home. He has been cooking and washing dishes, and having more time to spend with Sarah. It has been so great! What will I do when he gets into the crazy schedule of school and I get to be the parent most of the day... done it before... I think Sarah is going to be very unhappy at first, and tearful about him going to school in the mornings... ah well, life goes on... isn't it fun?
