Sarah & Mari getting ready for the parade, during the intermission of the concert. They got to parade across the stage. And Care Bear was waiting at the end.

Boy was she excited for the concert, but even more so for the parade.
A friend from church was given tickets last minute, and invited Sarah and I to join them for a Halloween concert by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. We got in a little late, and missed some of it, but Sarah sat on my lap and loved the music, to my delight. I pointed out some of the different instruments in the orchestra. All the musicians were dressed in Halloween costumes of all different kinds. All the guys playing percussion and marimbas were dressed as skeletons. Sarah pointed that out to me. They had MCs who cracked jokes etc. between pieces, but I think most of that was aimed at the parents. They played Babba Yaga, and a guy narrated the story. He did a great job. Sarah remembered the house on chicken legs.
At intermission all the kids who dressed up in their Halloween costumes got to parade across the stage, and it was a large auditorium. Sarah was quite taken with the Care Bear, and spent a while looking and wanting to hug him or shake his hand.
Ryan joined us for the next little bit, and then we needed to leave a little early to catch the bus. All in all it was a really fun, and unexpected night! Thank you Michelle.
